Stevens Point Bassmasters

Through the Federation qualification process, every member has the opportunity to progress and fish with the top anglers in the world.  Follow the road of our members below as they take their cast at getting to the big show.

The first step is to qualify for our Zone 2 tournament.  Each club can send 30% of it’s members, typically based on how they ranked from the previous year to compete against other Zone 2 members.

The next step is to qualify for the Wisconsin State Bass tournament.  The top 30% of zone finishers qualify for the State Tournament.

The third step will consist of the top 12 anglers from the state tournament to compete against state teams from 12 other states that make up the Northern Divisional Tournament.  These twelve members will compete for team awards along with one member being chosen to represent Wisconsin at the Federation tournament.

The Final step is the Federation tournament where the top angler for each of the five divisions (ours is the Northern Division) will qualify to participate in an elite championship tournament.
